Test riding the future in the south of England
Being one of the UK Government's Future Transport Zones has its perks. Not content with being awarded a significant pot of money to do new and innovative things, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, and the Isle of Wight are bringing forward their own plans to make e-scooters a reality.
Now that trialling e-scooter rentals is legal in the UK, Solent Transport is progressing with their own trials across the Solent area. And we are helping them. We have been asked to project manage the project, working with 4 different local transport authorities and local stakeholders to take the trials from approvals to running on the ground. This is a fast-paced, and ever-changing project, and the potential to engage local people in the trial is huge.
