Explore

You shouldn’t predict the future, you should explore it. Through our Participatory Mobility Futures approach, we will involve your citizens and stakeholders at every stage, whilst undertaking the technical work.

At the core of this is working with you and your communities - through highly interactive and engaging workshops, events, and online engagement - to co-create the future scenarios for mobility in your area. We work with you to develop a shared vision for what the future could look like.

We don’t just then leave those futures in a report. We use interactive tools and sessions like Scenario Games to get you and others to experience the future, and to test different policy interventions outside of just transport modelling (we can do that too). This gives you the insight on what type of futures may be desirable, and the impacts of them.

Gaming the future

Our Future of Mobility Scenario Game is a role-playing game that allows you to explore the opportunities the future may bring. This is a highly interactive game that uses influences from the world of entertainment to create an immersive future experience. It provides you with a means of thinking about your long term goals (and taking actions to ensure those are met), whilst interacting with and reacting to others who have their say in the future.

The benefits of our approach
